Greater Hartford Ryan White Part A Program Administration
The City of Hartford Department of Health and Human Services Ryan White Part A office funds health centers, hospitals, AIDS Service Organizations and other community partners to provide core medical and supportive services for people living with or at risk for acquiring HIV and AIDS. Our partners are part of a comprehensive coordinated health system across Hartford, Middlesex and Tolland Counties. A list of currently funded sites can be found here.
The Hartford Ryan White Programs have been administered through the City of Hartford Department of Health and Human Services since 1996. The Ryan White Part A and Minority AIDS Initiative Program receives funding from the Health Resources and Service Administration HIV AIDS Bureau, which is a division of the Federal Department of Health and Human Services. The Ryan White Part A Program funds 16 service categories ranging from medical care, housing, food, emergency financial assistance, transportation etc.
